Liquid Overhead is a small, yet crafty design collective from Austin Texas. We specialize in lovingly designed event and gig posters, cd & vinyl packaging, artfully printed paper products, image & ID-construction, and other art-like installations. Clients include Tito’s Vodka, Lost Highway Records, Ballroom Marfa, C3 Presents, Collection Agency Films, Le Sportsac, AT&T, Okay Mountain, and Transmission Entertainment, as well as many others.
At the center of our humble operation are the nimble yet rock-steady hands of designer/screenprinting artist JAIME CERVANTES. Cervantes’ work has been displayed at Ballroom Marfa, Austin History Museum, and The United States Art Authority, as well as in the book The Art of Modern Rock (Chronicle Books), Great Britain’s Subscreen Sonic poster art exhibition, Flatstock, and other places of high- or ill-repute. His gig posters have spanned musical talent from Dwight Yoakum to the Clientele, from Interpol to the Shins and countless others.
When not busy designing sought-after gig and art posters, CD & LP covers and packaging, or one-of-a-kind visual installations, Cervantes & co. can be found creating unique local & national brand identities, or else just printing out more lovely paper-y products which can only be described as classic, elegant, and super-foxy: just like us.
